Description

The documents in this compendium are products of the GeneLab Sequencing Group (https://genelab.nasa.gov/genelab-sequencing-services/overview) of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The SOPs in this compendium were generated by the GeneLab Sequencing Group to standardize next-generation sequencing analysis of specimens collected in space upon their return to earth. The SOPs in this compendium are publicly available for download from https://genelab.nasa.gov/genelab-sequencing-services/sops and https://github.com/nasa/GeneLab-sampleProcessing. Additional SOPs describing procedures for the isolation of nucleic acids from soil and other environmental sources are also available on their website.
