Description
This SOP describes procedures for the isolation of RNA and DNA from tissues homogenized according to the protocols outlined in SOP #2.1 or #2.2 using TRIzol reagent, the purification of the isolated RNA using the Qiagen AllPrep Mini Kit, and the removal of DNA using the QIAGEN RNase-Free DNase Set.
