Collection of SOPs on Snap-Freezing Human Tissue Specimens using Dry Ice

Description

The SOPs contained within this compendium pertain to snap-freezing human tissue biospecimens using dry ice. Each SOP is a product of a single source organization. The intent of this compendium is to facilitate comparisons of snap-freezing protocols across organizations. A Biospecimen Evidence-based Practice (BEBP) document on snap-freezing tissue specimens developed by the National Cancer Institute's Biorepositories and Biospecimen Research Branch (NCI BBRB) can be found at https://brd.nci.nih.gov/brd/sop/show/4.
