Description
This document describes processes used by the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI) for the preservation and storage of tissues by snap-freezing, immersion in RNAlater, by embedding in OCT medium, or by formalin fixation. It also describes the method for maintaining fresh tissue at 4°C for subsequent cell culture. It is available from http://ycci.yale.edu/researchers/biospecimenmanagement/biospecimen.aspx.
