Description
This document contains instructions for the surgical collection of pediatric lung tissue specimens by biopsy. Preservation methods for lung biopsy specimens procured via surgery or postmortem for future histological staining, electron microscopy, molecular and proteomic analyses, and microbiological culture are also outlined. It is a product of the Kids Lung Register (KLR), an international register and biobank for rare lung diseases.
