Description

This document describes the procedures used by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, a Cancer Immune Monitoring and Analysis Center (CIMAC) site, for multiplex immunohistochemical chromogenic staining on a single slide (MICSSS). MICSSS uses consecutive immunohistochemical (IHC) staining, imaging, and destaining cycles to allow for the sequential staining of up to 10 markers on a single formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) slide. The SOP is a product of the CIMAC and Cancer Immunologic Data Center Network (CIMAC-CIDC Network; https://dctd.cancer.gov/ResearchNetworks/cimacs_cidc_network.htm), a Cancer Moonshot Initiative.
