Description

This document describes the procedures for collecting stool and rectal swab specimens, preserving swabs in viral transport media (VTM), frozen or refrigerated storage, and specimen shipment that were developed by the Acute Flaccid Myelitis Working Group (AFMWG) (https://acuteflaccidmyelitis.org/).
