Description

This document describes the immunomagnetic selection of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and the detection of biomarkers by immunofluorescence assay using a qualified primary conjugated antibody and the CellSearch System CellTracks AutoPrep and Analyzer II. It is intended to be used in coordination with DCTD SOPs on specimen collection (LHTP00.08.03) and antibody qualification (LHTP003.8.1.1). It is a product of the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD; https://dctd.cancer.gov/).
