Description
This document describes the procedures used by the Office of HIV/AIDS Network Coordination (HANC) for the isolation and cryopreservation of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) from whole blood. It is developed and maintained by the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG)/International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials group (IMPAACT) Lab Tech Committee (LTC) and is available under the heading "Specimen Processing" at https://www.hanc.info/labs/labresources/procedures/Pages/actgImpaactLabManual.aspx.
