Description

This document describes the procedures used by the Office of HIV/AIDS Network Coordination (HANC) for processing, staining, and flow cytometric analysis of CD4+ and CD8+ cells in EDTA blood collected from clinical trial participants. It is developed and maintained by the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG)/International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials group (IMPAACT) Lab Tech Committee (LTC) and is available under the heading "Immunology" at https://www.hanc.info/labs/labresources/procedures/Pages/actgImpaactLabManual.aspx.
