Description
This document describes the procedures used by the Molecular Characterization and Clinical Assay Development Laboratory (MoCha) for RNA and DNA extraction from tumor tissue using the Qiagen AllPrep DNA/RNA Mini Kit and a Qiacube at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research. It also includes the steps for determining nucleic acid concentrations using Quant-it DNA and RNA BR Kits and a Spectramax M2 microplate reader. It is a product of the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Patient-Derived Models Repository (PDMR) and is available at https://pdmr.cancer.gov/sops/default.htm.
