Description

This document describes the protocol used by the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Department of Boston Medical Center (BMC) to measure quantify levels of D-dimer, a product of clot degradation, in plasma by the latex agglutination method as part of the Thrombosis in Cancer Patients (TCP) Project. It is a product of the Center for Strategic Scientific Initiatives (CSSI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) (https://cssi.cancer.gov/cancer-thrombosis).
