This standard operating procedure describes the procedure used for the collection and processing of pre-anesthesia blood in EDTA tubes for the preparation of plasma and whole cell pellets and collection in PAXgene tubes for processing for subsequent DNA and RNA at the Comprehensive Biospecimen Resource.
