This document describes procedures relating to receipt of shipments containing whole blood; paraffin blocks, scrolls/ribbons, and slides; and frozen tissue and nucleic acid specimens. It is a product of The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) Program and was developed for use by Biospecimen Core Resource (BCR), located within the Biopathology Center (BPC) at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
