Description
This document describes procedures for isolation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) from blood collected in CPT tubes using the Ficoll method and their subsequent cryopreservation. Procedures on measuring cell counts using trypan blue and a hemacytometer are also described. It is a product of the Immune Tolerance Network (ITN; https://www.immunetolerance.org/).
