Description
This document describes the procedures used by the Office of HIV/AIDS Network Coordination (HANC) for processing of leukapheresis samples for peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) for quantifying virus persistence. It is developed and maintained by the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG)/International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials group (IMPAACT) Lab Tech Committee (LTC) and is available under the heading "Specimen Processing" at https://www.hanc.info/labs/labresources/procedures/Pages/actgImpaactLabManual.aspx.
