Description
This document describes the procedures used by the Office of HIV/AIDS Network Coordination (HANC) for the collection and processing of semen specimens and their components (seminal plasma and seminal cells) from clinical trial participants. It is developed and maintained by the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG)/International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials group (IMPAACT) Lab Tech Committee (LTC) and is available under the heading "Specimen Processing" at https://www.hanc.info/labs/labresources/procedures/Pages/actgImpaactLabManual.aspx.
