Description

This document describes the procedures used for the collection, processing, aliquoting, preservation, and storage of whole urine specimens and their isolated components (urine cell pellet and supernatant) that comprise the Urine Reference Set (URS) for the Early Detection Research Network’s (EDRN; https://edrn.cancer.gov/) Prostate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (P-MRI) Biomarker Study. It is intended for use with project-specific collection and shipping kits and is available at https://edrn.cancer.gov/data-and-resources/standard-operating-procedures/.
