Description

This document describes the collection and processing of blood samples, and is used in conjunction with the CPTAC prospective tissue procurement SOPs. The intent of blood samples collected under this protocol are molecular profile analysis including discovery of biomarkers and cellular blood components for germ line genetic analysis. Protocols are a product of the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC; http://proteomics.cancer.gov/programs/cptacnetwork), which is sponsored by the National Cancer Institute's Office of Cancer Clinical Proteomics Research (http://proteomics.cancer.gov/).
