Description
This document describes procedures used by study sites to investigate rare diseases and systemic vasculitis. The scope of the document includes the collection of blood (in serum, EDTA, lithium heparin and PAXgene tubes) and urine specimens and their transport to a laboratory for additional processing; the SOP also addresses ethical considerations, governance and quality assessment, eligibility criteria, informed consent, and data collection and file management.
