This document describes the procedures used by Vaccine and Treatment Evaluation Units (VTEUs) to isolate peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and plasma from whole blood collected in Cell Preparation Tubes (CPT) containing sodium citrate for use in cell activation/Cell Mediated Immunity work.
