This document describes the procedure used by the Childhood Cancer Repository and the Texas Cancer Cell Repository for processing cells from ascites and pleural fluid for cell culturing, xenografts, and the establishment of cell lines. It includes steps for the culturing of steps, performing intra-peritoneal and subcutaneous mouse injections, cryopreserving cells, maintaining cell cultures, and establishing cell lines.
