Description

This document describes the procedure used by the Childhood Cancer Repository and the Texas Cancer Cell Repository for processing white cells from whole blood and bone marrow for cell culturing, xenografts, and the establishment of cell lines. It includes steps for the culturing of steps, performing mouse tail-vein and subcutaneous injections, cryopreserving cells, maintaining cell cultures, and designating a culture as an established cell line.
