This SOP describes the procedures for obtaining consent for the collection of omentum specimens and specimen processing immediately after collection in preparation for transfer to the tissue bank. It is a product of the Wales Kidney Research Tissue Bank (WKRTB) which is supported by Wales Kidney Research Unit of Cardiff University (https://www.healthandcareresearch.gov.wales/wales-kidney-research-unit/).
