Description
This document describes protocols for the dissection and preservation of postmortem brains and their subsequent preservation by either formalin fixation (whole brain) or freezing (¼ of the cerebellum) for shipment to the brain bank. It also includes instructions for the collection and frozen preservation of the pituitary gland.
