Description

This document describes protocols for the extraction, dissection, sectioning, preservation, and processing of postmortem brains and spinal cords by biobanks affiliated with the Spanish Biobank Network. It also discusses the collection of other neural tissue-associated specimens during autopsy and methods for morphological and molecular neuropathological diagnoses including those for pediatric and psychiatric disease-based biobanks.
